1. Beta Disclaimer

The Service is currently offered as a beta version. This means that certain features may be incomplete, unstable, or subject to change. By using the Service during this beta phase, you understand and accept that unexpected issues may arise, and data may not be retained after updates or changes. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve the platform. For any major changes that could cause the user to lose data we will notify you via email. Before major changes we will back up data and try to have a roll back plan incase things go wrong. 2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you're under 18, you must have parental consent.

3. Your Account

To access most features, you'll need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and any activity that occurs under your account.

4. Plans and Usage Limits

We offer multiple plans, including a free tier with limited functionality and storage. If you manage to exceed your plan limits, your site may not publish, or certain features may be disabled until limits are reduced or a plan is upgraded. Details

• Apprentice Plan: Limited to 1 website with basic features free forever
• Ephemeral Plan: Free 1-month site. No subscription. No renewal. After 30 days, the site becomes private and remains in your account. You may publish another Ephemeral site after 5 weeks.
• Inventor Plans: Full feature access, available via monthly or discounted annual payment

Plan features and pricing are subject to change. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of changes.

5. Billing & Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You agree to provide accurate payment information. We do not store any payment details on our servers.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle or the site is deleted.
• Failed payments: If a charge fails, Stripe may retry. Your published site generally stays publicly available during Stripe's retry period. We do not take your site down solely because the subscription is temporarily past due. If Stripe ultimately ends or cancels the subscription (including after failed payments), we archive the public site.
• Cancellation: If you turn off renewal, your subscription typically remains active through the billing period you already paid for (per Stripe). Your published site generally stays live until that period ends and Stripe removes the subscription, at which point we archive it so it is no longer publicly at your subdomain. Your content stays in your account until you delete it or we remove it under these Terms.
• Visitors to a site that is archived or not publicly active see a notice that the site is not available; they do not see your private editor content.
• Cancellation of a subscription does not refund the current billing period. You can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the period you already paid for unless otherwise stated.
• Refunds may be issued within 7 days of purchase at our sole discretion. Refunds are generally considered when a technical issue on our side prevents you from using the Service as intended. We do not provide refunds for change of mind after significant usage, or for partial billing periods. Annual plans: prorated refunds after the first 7 days are exceptional and at our discretion.
• Please contact support within 7 days of purchase for refund requests: Contact Support. We aim to respond within 24 hours on business days.
• We reserve the right to cancel or suspend your subscription for violation of these Terms or suspected abuse.

6. Content and User Responsibility

You retain all rights to content you create and upload. However, by publishing via our platform, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host and deliver your content.

Personal information in site builder caveats:

• We are not liable for any personal information you choose to publish via site builder. Do not publish any information that you would not like others to know.
• We are not liable for any media you choose to publish via site builder. These sites could be viewed by anyone and you are responsible for the content you publish.
• You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content complies with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. We are not liable for any legal issues that may arise from your content.

You may not use the Service to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or obscene content
• Harass, impersonate, or mislead others
• Infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property
• Circumvent storage, hosting, or subscription limits

We reserve the right to remove or restrict content and/or accounts that violate these rules.

7. Storage and Data Handling

Your data is stored securely, but we cannot guarantee that content will be retained indefinitely in all circumstances. When an Ephemeral plan's public period ends, the site is made private and retained in your account — it is not deleted unless you delete it or we remove it under these Terms. Expired sites are made private and retained in your account; they are not deleted unless you delete them.

You are responsible for backing up important content. We may implement content compression and limits to optimize storage and performance.

8. Domains and Site Names

Users may claim available site names, which function as subdomains or URLs (e.g., yourname.makerr.space).

As long as you have an active hosting plan, you are gaureenteed to have your site name. Inactive or expired accounts may have their claimed names released for others to use. We do not guarantee the permanent reservation of site names unless otherwise stated.

9. Platform Availability

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and unplanned outages may occur. We are not liable for data loss or downtime.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

Upon termination, your access to your sites may be revoked, and content may be deleted or archived at our discretion.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users via the Service or email when significant changes are made. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Use of the platform is at your own risk. We do not guarantee that your website will meet your specific needs or expectations.

We are not liable for any loss of data, revenue, or damages resulting from use of the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
